What You'll Do

As a Caregiver with SYNERGY HomeCare, you may assist clients with:

  • Companionship and social engagement

  • Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Walking, mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention support

  • Meal preparation

  • Light housekeeping and laundry

  • Medication reminders

  • Transportation, errands, and appointments when needed

  • Communicating changes or concerns to the office and family

  • Following the client's individual care plan

Qualifications

  • Must be able to reliably commute to Simi Valley

  • Previous professional caregiving experience is strongly preferred

  • Current California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred

  • If not currently registered, must be eligible and willing to complete HCA registration and Live Scan requirements

  • Current TB clearance, or ability to obtain

  • Reliable transportation

  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance when required

  • Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility

  • Strong communication skills

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Experience with senior care, dementia or memory care, personal care, mobility assistance, transfers, or in-home caregiving is especially valuable.

  • CNA, HHA, CPR, and First Aid certifications are a plus, but not required.
