Job Summary

Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver looking for rewarding work? Always Best Care Boerne is seeking Caregiver Assistants to provide high-quality in-home care for seniors in Brady, TX.

As a Caregiver Assistant, you will help improve the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and helping maintain their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Provide mobility and transfer assistance to ensure client comfort and safety

  • Provide medication reminders

  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

  • Perform light housekeeping related to client care

  • Provide emotional support and companionship

  • Document care provided and report changes in client condition to the supervising team

  • Encourage participation in appropriate recreational activities and social engagement

  • Follow client care plans and company policies

  • Help ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times

Qualifications

  • Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per month

  • Willing to use our integrated platform for documentation and time tracking

  • Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required; training is provided

  • Passionate about helping seniors and making a difference in their lives

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to handle the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance

  • Dependable, patient, empathetic, and trustworthy

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and follow instructions

  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Valid driver's license required

  • Reliable transportation required

  • 3 professional references

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
