LVN Clinic Supervisor-Primary Care

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises clinic staff along with daily operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and enforce standard of work

Participates in lean processes and in the development of policies and programs intended to improve the delivery of care and maintain accreditation

Develops schedules for clinic staff to ensure adequate coverage

Conducts staff meetings to provide education, updates, and general information as needed

Monitors and influences key performance metrics as assigned

Provide direct patient care as needed

Demonstrates competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities in a manner that meets the age-specific and developmental needs of patients served by primary care to include adults and children.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Graduation from an accredited School of Vocational Nursing is required.  Recommend at least two years experience in an outpatient setting with progressive responsibilities.  Recommend at least two years experience in a supervisory/management position in a health care setting. 

 

LICENSURE

            Must possess a current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of Texas. Must maintain a current CPR Certification. ACLS certification is preferred.

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
