We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to children and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities
Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
Develop and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early childhood education, and behavioral management.
Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining a secure environment, and applying first aid or CPR when necessary.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behaviors, and any concerns that arise.
Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs and fostering inclusive participation.
Maintain detailed records of daily activities, health updates, and incident reports as required by licensing standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children across different age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education practices.
Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred.
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in youth programs is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration.
Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that promote learning and fun while ensuring safety at all times.
Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential.
