Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at SYNERGY HomeCare of Flathead Valley. As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical care and companionship to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and live life to the fullest. Responsibilities:
• Provide attention to clients' non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement
• Assist clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders, personal care
• Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Professionals who are highly educated and experienced in dementia care and cognitive decline. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the various stages of dementia and be skilled in recognizing and responding to the unique behavioral and emotional challenges individuals may experience, including agitation, confusion, sundowning, and mood changes. Care Professionals must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, patience, empathy, and compassion while providing person-centered care. Experience with non-pharmacological interventions and the ability to develop and implement individualized care plans are essential to enhancing quality of life and maintaining dignity for those in our care. In addition to dementia care, candidates should be well-versed in supporting individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.
