Job Summary:

Right at Home Blue Ridge is seeking compassionate and dedicated Overnight Caregivers (CNA or PCA) to provide exceptional care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients, providing comfort, independence, and peace of mind. What We Offer:

Overnight Responsibilities:

As an overnight caregiver, your primary mission is safety and comfort. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safety Monitoring: Provide wellness checks throughout the night to prevent falls

  • Personal Care: Assist with evening wind-down and morning routines (bathing, dressing, hygiene)

  • Mobility Support: Assist with transfers and toileting during the night

  • Home Support: Perform quiet, light housekeeping (laundry, meal prep) while the client rests

  • Observation: Document client status and report any changes to the care team

Requirements:

  • Certification: Valid Virginia PCA or CNA Certificate (Required)

  • Experience: At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience

  • Transportation: Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle

  • Background: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check

  • Alertness: Ability to stay awake, alert, and attentive throughout the duration of the shift
