Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications accurately and on schedule in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
  • Observe residents for medication effectiveness, reactions, and changes in condition, reporting concerns to the nursing team.
  • Document medication administration and resident information accurately and timely.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as permitted by certification and facility guidelines.
  • Maintain medication carts, medication rooms, and supplies in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor medication inventory and notify appropriate staff of replenishment needs.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance procedures at all times.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident needs and requests.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.

 

Qualifications

  • Part Time Hours
  • Schedule: Days, Evenings  
  • Everyother weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Must have a valid CMT license through the Maryland Board of Nursing
  • Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.

We are a Nursing Home and Assisted Living community that offers skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, in and outpatient therapy.
