We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed register nurse that can work in a busy ENT clinic. The RN will oversee the allergy program for this clinic. The allergy nurse ensures safe preparation and administration of allergen extracts, monitors patients for adverse reactions including anaphylaxis, maintains regulatory compliance and contributes to quality and clinical outcomes. We need a person that is dependable, with strong work ethics. Good communication and computer skills are required.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administering subcutaneous immunotherapy, sublingual immunotherapy according to a physician treatment plan, performing and interpreting allergy testing, monitoring patients pre-during and post-immunotherapy. Prepare, label, dilute and store allergen extracts and immunotherapy vials. Educate patients on allergy management. Will provide education on patch testing, intradermal testing and drug allergy testing. The RN will assist in preauthorization of tests and procedures.

The clinic hours are from 8:00am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
