Responsibilities Inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Ensures patient confidentiality Signs/initials documentation Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. Basic coding and filling of insurance forms and conducting preauthorization work and obtaining appropriate certifications Scans all pertinent information into the electronic health record system. Medical Assistant will assist physician with any procedures. Prepares all pre screening for procedures and surgical consults Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards Related duties as required Communicates with patients on behalf of providers. Maintains exam rooms are fully stocked by supporitng inventofy of supplies.
