Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to children and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.

  • Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers.

  • Develop and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early childhood education, and behavioral management.

  • Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining a secure environment, and applying first aid or CPR when necessary.

  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behaviors, and any concerns that arise.

  • Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs and fostering inclusive participation.

  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, health updates, and incident reports as required by licensing standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children across different age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.

  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education practices.

  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred.

  • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in youth programs is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration.

  • Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that promote learning and fun while ensuring safety at all times.

  • Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential.

  • Reliable, patient, energetic, and committed to creating a positive caregiving environment.
