In this role, you will function as a clinic level supervisor, performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties related to clinical management of practice and patient care. You will provide a safe, efficient, quality direct patient nursing care in accordance with the provisions of the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians. In addition, you will perform administrative duties including quality monitoring, clinical supply management, supporting established clinic workflows and staff education. Under the direct supervision of the designated clinical staff member, you will provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population, while maintaining high standards of care, and recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms of life threatening emergencies. You will work in collaboration with the Ambulatory Nursing Team to ensure clinical standards are maintained.

Salary range: $38.65/hr - $80.70/hr

How you make a difference The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides assistance and collects data in the delivery of patient care in a correctional setting, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. As part of this role, the LVN directs and guides patient teaching and activities in accordance with their education, demonstrated competencies, and the Nursing Practice Act (NPA). The LVN works closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and compliance with established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act and Correctional Health Services policies. Administer medications and implement medical plans as directed by the Health Care Practitioner, utilizing proper techniques and procedures.
