Job Description

Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and improving their quality of life. As a DSP, you will provide hands-on assistance, emotional support, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Support clients in community integration and social activities

  • Administer medication (if certified)

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

  • Implement individualized care plans

  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or DSP role preferred

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
