Progressive Care Center, a skilled nursing facility committed to top-notch resident-centered care in a therapeutic environment conducive to a high quality of life, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse. The professional nurse we seek to fill this position will need to demonstrate leadership on the unit in the presence and absence of the Nursing Director. We provide care for nursing home residents as well as skilled nursing care.
Your job responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, ensuring top-quality resident-centered care, compliance with physicians’ orders and facility policy, medication administration, and assuring a safe and suitable environment for our residents. Kind, compassionate, and dependable characteristics are imperative. You will be part of a professional team of Physical, Speech, Occupational Therapists and nursing assistants that will work diligently to return our residents to their normal ADLs. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of comfort. The Director of Nursing, an assistant Director of Nursing and the Administrator are available as a resource to you.
An active Louisiana LPN license is required to apply for this position or board eligibility.
