What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adult patients on a 20-bed Women's Services unit.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Initiate treatments and monitor patient progress throughout their hospital stay.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
- Accurately document patient conditions, interventions, and changes in status.
- Support patients through their surgical recovery and postpartum care journeys while maintaining a positive patient experience.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and collaboration that supports both patients and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
