We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator to join our team at Westchester Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, a leading provider of rehabilitative therapy and long-term care in Mount Vernon, New York.

About the RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator Role:

As a RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator, you will play a vital role in our education and training programs, providing guidance and support to our nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with our clinical team to develop and implement educational programs, conduct staff training sessions, and evaluate the effectiveness of our educational initiatives.

RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement staff education programs to enhance patient care and outcomes

  • Conduct training sessions for nursing staff on a variety of topics, including infection control, medication administration, and wound care

  • Collaborate with our clinical team to develop and implement policies and procedures

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvements

  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff on a variety of topics, including medication management, patient assessment, and care planning

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator Requirements:

  • RN Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New York

  • Prior experience in a similar role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
