A Typical Day for a Hospice Certified Nursing Aide with WesleyLife at Home Hospice: 

Your day begins with intention — grounded in WesleyLife’s belief that every person deserves comfort, dignity, and the opportunity to pursue joy, no matter where they are in life’s journey. As a Hospice CNA, you’ll spend your day providing gentle, compassionate care in the homes of those we serve. Each visit is unique because every individual’s story, needs, and wishes guide your care. You’ll offer personal support with daily activities, provide comfort-focused care, and be a reassuring presence for clients and their families.
  • You will have the opportunity to directly and positively impact the health and wellbeing of the people you serve through the provision of professional nursing services.
  • Our Hospice Certified Nursing Aides assist with many tasks including bathing, dressing, light meal prep, etc. 
  • Our Hospice Certified Nursing Aides work with a team of nurses, social workers and therapist to ensure quality patient care and compassion. 
  • Due to the nature of our patients, our Hospice Certified Nursing Aides drive to various homes and communities in all weather types.

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this position is $16.92 - $21.15 / hour. The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.
  • Daily Pay: Use this free app to access your wages before payday to handle unexpected expenses
  • Mileage Reimbursement at 58.5 cents per mile
