Step into Lincoln Elementary, supporting the school's healthcare needs alongside the primary nurse. You will work 35 hours per week, from 8:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, providing direct care and compassion to young students. In addition to managing daily health office tasks, you will be called upon to serve as substitute PCA/1:1 support in the absence of regular staff, primarily assisting students who require extra attention, including those with diabetes.

Key Qualifications:

Current, active LPN or LVN licensure
Minimum of one year of school nursing experience
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic educational setting
Sensitivity and patience when working with children
Experience with diabetes care or willingness to learn is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist the school nurse with daily medical and health office duties
Provide substitute 1:1 or PCA support to students as needed
Deliver direct student care, including support with diabetic management under nurse supervision
Communicate professionally with staff, students, and parents
Maintain accurate records and uphold student confidentiality
