JOB TITLE: CRNA

 

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will perform duties under the direction of the operative surgeon.  The CRNA will be able to interpret data with regards to the patient's age specific needs and provide the care needed by the patient group.  

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist Program
  • Current Nurse Anesthetist License and Certification
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Experience with ophthalmology anesthesia required 

 

ABILITIES:

Ability to perform orbital regional anesthesia required.

Must have a valid national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
