NHC HealthCare Scott is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for Night Shift to join our team.

CNAs are essential members of the care team and have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while supporting patients and residents with daily care, comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation as needed.

  • Help with meals, hydration, and other daily needs.

  • Obtain and record vital signs and other information as directed by licensed nursing staff.

  • Observe patients and residents and promptly report changes in condition or behavior to the nurse.

  • Respond to call lights and requests for assistance in a timely and compassionate manner.

  • Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient and resident environments.

  • Follow infection control, safety, and NHC procedures.

  • Work closely with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Tennessee as required.

  • Ability to provide compassionate and respectful hands-on care.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Dependable, professional, and committed to quality care.

  • Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or health care experience is preferred but not required.

Sign-On Bonus

Eligible hires may qualify for a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Eligibility, payment schedule, and other terms are subject to NHC guidelines and center-specific requirements.

FREE CNA TRAINING at NHC Pulaski - 2 week long class, un-paid - Opportunity to apply for employment afterward Thank you for your interest in taking the state certified nurse aide training program. Our program is a fast-paced class that is completed in 2 weeks. To be considered for the class, you must provide the following at the time of your interview: Completed Application Valid Photo Identification Social Security Card Since the class is only 2 weeks in duration, no absences or tardiness is permitted. You must pass each test with a score of 80% or greater to continue in the course. Books and Supplies ($40) will be needed as a deposit on the first day of class and will be returned upon graduation! You will be required to purchase one set of scrubs to wear every day to class and clinical. We will run a criminal background check as well as consult the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults. No one with a felony conviction, certain misdemeanor charges, and/or found on the abuse registry can be admitted to the class. If you have been accepted into the class, you will receive a phone call on or before Friday before the class at 10:00AM. Students are chosen based on the facility need, shift availability of the candidate, entrance exam score, flexibility of the candidate, previous work history and attitude.
