This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU-UHW. What You Will Do
Performs individualized nursing care for patients/families under the direction of an RN. Uses and practices basic assessment data collection, participates in planning, executes interventions in accordance with the Plan Of Care and contributes to evaluation of outcomes. Communicates to ensure patient/family educated Plan Of Care and planned treatments.

Required Qualifications

  • IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal Certification is required within 6 months of hire. Certification to be tracked and maintained by the department.

Ability to prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures. Ability to observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action. Ability to collect samples, such as blood, urine, or sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
