SYNERGY HomeCare is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Care Professional to provide weekend care for our clients.

We are seeking someone who is comfortable and experienced using a Hoyer lift and providing hands-on care to clients with mobility limitations, physical disabilities, and dementia. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, reliable, and committed to providing safe, respectful, and compassionate care.

Care Professional Responsibilities

Safely operate and utilize a Hoyer lift for client transfers
Assist with bed-to-chair and other transfers using proper safety techniques
Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support clients living with dementia and memory loss
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Prepare meals and assist with proper nutrition
Perform light housekeeping and laundry
Encourage safe mobility and social engagement
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
Accurately document care provided
Communicate changes in the client’s condition or needs to the office

Qualifications

Previous Hoyer lift experience is required
Previous hands-on caregiving experience preferred
Dementia care experience is a plus
Must be 18 years or older
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation with current auto insurance
Ability to safely perform transfers and provide hands-on care
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Authorized to work in the United States
Strong communication skills
Dependable, compassionate, and professional work ethic
Reliable weekend availability
