Location: Peoria, IL

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Shifts: Day & Night Shifts Available

Pay: $32.61–$49.28/hour

Night Differential: +$4.00/hour

Weekend Differential: +$3.25/hour

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $12,500 for New Graduates | Up to $20,000 for Experienced RNs

About the Role

EMP Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join General Medical-Surgical units in Peoria, Illinois. Both experienced RNs and new graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.

The RN will provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based patient care while working closely with patients, families, providers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and monitor progress.
  • Provide safe, quality nursing care within RN scope of practice.
  • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
  • Collaborate with providers, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Administer patient education and support discharge planning.
  • Delegate appropriately and support team members.
  • Follow clinical, safety, infection-prevention, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Michigan.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required before employment start date.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Previous RN experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an acute-care, patient-centered environment.
