What You'll Do

Provide professional medical assistant care to patients in the physician practice setting.
Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and document patient information accurately.
Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Administer medications and immunizations as ordered.
Respond to patient calls and questions and provide appropriate follow-up.
Coordinate patient care, referrals, testing, and follow-up appointments as needed.
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, preventative care, and health conditions.
Monitor and communicate patient changes and concerns to the appropriate provider.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Follow established clinical, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
Work collaboratively with providers and other members of the practice team to provide exceptional patient care.

What We're Looking For

Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Currently credentialed as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.
Previous outpatient/physician practice experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
