This position is working on the pediatric side of the Beatrice Women's and Children's Clinic. 


LPN

Job Duties: 

The Physician Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates clinic activities for assigned clinic and provides patient care.  This LPN is responsible for meeting the approved Standards of Practice, manages supplies and equipment in the clinic, and for promoting collaboration with physician and other health care providers.  

Qualifications: 

Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma.  Currently licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Nebraska.  Current CPR/BLS. 


Medical Assistant

Job Duties: 

Rooms patients, obtains and documents vital signs, and completes rooming process for patients of all ages. Assists nursing personnel with care of patient as directed by director/leader and/or provider within the scope of a Medical Assistant. Answers internal and external telephone calls for clinic and performs other clerical duties as directed.  

Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or equivalent.  Completion of Medical Assisting program. Certified Medical Assistant preferred.  Currently licensed as a Medication Aide – 40 Hour in the State of Nebraska required.  Current CPR/BLS.  Previous experience in physician clinic and experience with Electronic Medical Record preferred.  


Shift Schedule:

Hours/shifts needed would include:

  • Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm

Shift Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday— This is primarily a weekday physician clinic role, with just one or two Express Care shifts per month. Hours/shifts needed would include: · 8hours/shifts; Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Express Care Coverage: Candidates wo are interested in participating in our weekend program may have the opportunity to work additional Express Care shifts with an enhanced weekend shift differential. What you'll do The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Ambulatory Care provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician’s Assistant, or Physician. The LPN functions as part of the interdisciplinary health care team. May be required to make home visits. Provides direct and indirect nursing care individualized to the patient’s needs.
