On-Call Caregiver

This role is a hybrid position combining caregiving and office support, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM. When a Caregiver calls out, you'll step in to cover that client's shift, making sure our clients never miss the care they depend on. When you're not covering a call-out, you'll work in the office helping answer phones and support day-to-day operations. It's hard to put a price on helping others, but we know how important you are and the value you provide our clients and our team.
Schedule:
• Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (consistent, set weekly schedule)
• Based out of the office; deployed to cover client shifts as call-outs occur
• When not covering a shift, works in the office answering phones and supporting the team
Compensation & Benefits:
• Pay $17.00 an hour

Responsibilities – Caregiving Coverage (as call-outs occur):
• Assist with daily living needs (bathing, toileting, ambulation assistance)
• Companionship care
• Medication reminders
• Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assist with hobbies, or run errands
• Prepare a home-cooked meal (you don't need to be a gourmet chef)
• Perform light housekeeping
• A Caregiver will not provide medical, nursing, or skilled services
MUST BE OK WITH PETS.
Responsibilities – Office Support (between call-outs):
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to clients, caregivers, and families
• Assist office staff with administrative tasks as needed
• Communicate clearly with the scheduling team about availability for shift coverage
Requirements:
• High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws
• Comfortable working in an office setting and using a multi-line phone system
• Pass background check and drug screen in accordance with the Department of Public Health Policy
