Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Rapid Response for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:
You will be responsible to respond for all RRTs (Rapid Response calls), Code Blue, Code Sepsis, and Code Stroke.
You will communicate daily with each charge nurse to identify high risk patients.
You will be responsible to monitor surgery schedule and rounds on any “at risk” post op patients.
You will take on the role of educator and provides support and education to staff as needed.

What qualifications you will need:
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Certification Requirement: The successful candidate must possess an applicable certification recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center ANCC for Magnet-recognized organizations at the time of hire or obtain the required certification within one (1) year of employment
NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

Job Summary and Qualifications As an Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." What You Will Do In Your Role: You will be responsible for coordinating the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit in order to provide quality patient care. You will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the appropriate age populations. You will provide professional nursing care exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. You will provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. What qualifications you will need: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
