As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Emergency Department, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients during some of their most critical moments. Using the nursing process and evidence-based practices, you'll provide direct patient care, assess and prioritize patient needs, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help ensure the best possible outcomes in a fast-paced environment. How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications: BLS / ACLS / PALS

• Experience: Previous Emergency Services Preferred 

• Licenses: Must have a current state or compact state RN license.

• Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
