Job Summary
Birchwood Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor/Coordinator.
In this role, you will teach and prepare students to provide safe, compassionate, and effective patient care. The position combines classroom instruction with the coordination of hands-on clinical experience in a local long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
Instruct CNA classes and provide engaging classroom education
Teach students how to safely and effectively provide basic patient care
Coordinate hands-on clinical training and experiences
Maintain a safe, organized, and comprehensive training program
Evaluate and document student progress
Create and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and educational materials
Ensure the smooth and safe operation of the instructional and clinical learning environment
Qualifications
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in long-term care
Vermont NATCEP approved
Strong communication and teaching skills
Ability to effectively organize and lead CNA classes
Passion for educating and supporting future nursing professionals
