A Place At Home – Kirkland is hiring South Asian language speaking home caregivers and live-in caregivers with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) credentials who want meaningful, stable work supporting South Asian seniors in their homes across the Eastside.

We are seeing growing demand from Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, and Nepali families across Bellevue, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, and Kirkland for caregivers who can communicate with grandparents in their native language, prepare familiar vegetarian and home-style meals, and respect cultural and religious practices in the home.

If you speak Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, or Nepali and have your CNA or HCA credentials, we want to talk to you.

Pay: $22–$28 per hour

  • Competitive hourly rate (DOE)

  • Mileage reimbursement & Paid drive time between clients

  • 1.5x holiday differential pay on major holidays

Who We're Looking For

We welcome passionate home care caregivers who are:

  • Conversational or fluent in at least one South Asian language — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, or Nepali (required)

  • Compassionate and dependable

  • Experienced (1 year preferred)

  • CNA or HCA certified in Washington State, OR currently enrolled in HCA/CNA coursework

  • Comfortable preparing vegetarian and home-style South Asian meals when requested

  • Respectful of cultural, religious, and dietary practices in the home (vegetarian households, Hindu and Sikh prayer routines, halal kitchens, fasting periods, etc.)

  • Able to pass a background check

  • At least 18 years of age, with two positive work references

  • Capable of assisting with ADLs

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record

What You'll Do

As a caregiver / CNA / HCA supporting South Asian clients, you will support seniors with:

  • Companionship and conversation in their native language

  • Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting

  • Meal prep — including vegetarian, Jain, halal, and home-style South Asian meals when requested — and medication reminders

  • Light housekeeping, with respect for prayer spaces and household customs

  • Transportation to medical appointments, the temple or gurdwara, and errands

  • Creating a safe, comfortable, culturally familiar home environment

  • Perform specialized care engagement programs we designed

Caregiver Summary: The Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Care Manager to provide personal care and support services that meet each client’s individual needs. The Caregiver is assigned to clients in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of care, and delivers services in alignment with HomeWell’s mission and standards of care.
