Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers to join our team at Altra Homecare of Kokomo as a Tipton Caregiver. As a Tipton Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care services to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. Our patient-first approach is built on strong relationships, and we are committed to delivering personalized care that meets each client's unique needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary

• Provide medication reminders

• Ensure patient safety

• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor

• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required

• Monitor and record patient temperature

• Assist patients with ambulation

• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols

• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines

• Offer bathing assistance

• Perform light housekeeping

• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance

• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided

• Current CPR certification

• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws
