Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance

  • Assist with ambulation, mobility, and transfers

  • Lead range-of-motion exercises and light physical activities

  • Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed

  • Provide medication reminders

  • Monitor and record client temperature

  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry

  • Offer companionship, including reading and letter writing

  • Promote client safety and report significant changes in condition to your supervisor promptly

  • Maintain accurate care documentation and follow all care plans and protocols

  • Follow HIPAA privacy policies and infection control guidelines

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18

  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance

  • Current CPR certification

  • Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care accurately

  • Willingness to complete training required by state and federal regulations

  • 1+ year of caregiving or related experience preferred

Compensation

  • $14 – $16 per hour, depending on experience
