What You’ll Do

Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
Conducts fitness for duty and return to work physical exams as requested
Provides medically appropriate care to injured workers using evidence-based guidelines, expedites the return to meaningful work, and collaborates with the TPA and client to quarterback case management
Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers
Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
Performs other duties as assigned
