English/Italian-Speaking Caregiver

We are seeking a fluent Italian speaking caregiver for a client. The client requires a caregiver fluent in Italian as it is the sole language of the client. The client is projected to start care next week, so this is an immediate need.

Location: Oceanside, NY

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am-3pm

Hourly pay: $19.65 to $20 per hour

This position is open to a companion, home health aide, or personal care assistant.

What You'll Do (but not limited to):

Provide daily personal care and assistance, including help with meals, hygiene, and mobility.

Engage in meaningful conversation in Italian to support emotional well-being.

Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation tailored to the client’s preferences.

Accompany the client to appointments or outings, ensuring safety and comfort.

Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or mood to the care coordinator.

What You'll Bring

Fluency in Italian (spoken and understood) — essential for communication with the client.
Valid NY state driver's license
Reliable transportation

Experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role.
