About the Role

Capitol City Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our dynamic team on the Day Shift, working Every Other Weekend. As a Part-Time RN Supervisor, you will play a critical role in directing and supervising the implementation of our resident care plans, ensuring a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for our patients.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan

  • Coordinate and supervise all services on assigned units to achieve a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for residents

  • Regularly round on nursing units to ensure quality care and resident satisfaction

  • Assist in creating a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances resident care and quality of life, providing support and direction for nurses

  • Monitor and assure that incidents, accidents, and resident/staff complaints are reported and documented correctly

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license valid to work in D.C

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising nursing staff

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve high-quality patient care

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
