Duties and Responsibilities: Med Tech

  • Provide direct care according to the individualized resident treatment plan
  • Help the nurses with the daily medication passes
  • Report to your charge nurse in the event of any medication (or other) concerns
  • Maintain current certification by attending & participating in training and educational classes
  • Deliver the highest quality of care possible to each resident, serving with kindness and compassion

 

Qualifications and Skills: Med Tech

  • CNA license required 
  • Current certification in the state of Wisconsin

Must possess a valid Medication Technician certificate within the state of Florida 1st Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 2nd Shift: 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. 3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Primary Responsibilities for Medication Technician: Administers medications according to the physician order on the medication administration record (MAR). Documents medications administered on the MAR in accordance with company policy.
