Must be willing to work at multiple nearby nursing facilities.

We are looking for a 24 hours (11-7) including every other weekend

This is a working RN Supervisor assignment on nights

Requirements

* IV cert required*

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in in the state of CT in good standing

  • Experience in senior care preferred

  • No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

  • Willingness to drive to nearby A Nursing Home Company facilities as needed

Main Function: *Serves as a cross-covering team member for the Wellness Clinic, which focuses on Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) management. The Infusion Center Registered Nurse provides direct patient care and infusion therapy services. Responsibilities include administering intravenous medications, chemotherapy/biologic agents, blood products, injections, and hydration therapies per provider orders; monitoring patients for infusion reactions and clinical emergencies; providing education and support to patients and families; ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR); and maintaining a safe clinical environment in compliance with hospital, state, and federal standards. The nurse collaborates with providers, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered, high-quality care. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience required. Prior experience in infusion therapy strongly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion, venipuncture, infusion pump operation, and management of infusion reactions. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
