SSU is a 35-bed department broken up in 2 separate units that are staffed as their own entities. SSU operates as the observation unit, acting to offload the emergency department. SSU is a fast paced, cardiac telemetry environment where nurses are working in tandem with physicians to make clinical decisions about evolving plans of care. SSU has a strong presence in organizational professional development, offers ample opportunity for growth and regularly leads the hospital in initiatives and by example. SSU team members are close knit, work well in tandem with other care teams and are trusted to provide quality care to a diverse population of patients from all over the area.

We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
