As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you are responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

●        Ensure that a client’s plan of care or care plan is executed as written.

●        Conduct nursing assessments, prepare plans of care, and conduct periodic supervisory visits.

●        Perform a reassessment of a client’s needs when there is a significant health status change in the client’s condition or after hospital discharge.

●        Obtain lab draws according to physician orders.

●        Administer injections according to physician orders.

●        Coordinate multidisciplinary services.

●        Participate in staff orientation upon request

●        Train and evaluate Nurse Next Door caregivers.

●        Deliver on our Brand Promise by owning the client’s experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families

●        Assist clients with activities of daily living: healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc.

●        Serve as a liaison between staff, physician, client and community through open

and effective communications.

●        Know and abide by all policies and function accordingly

●        Help keep all records up to date, organized, and ready for inspection at any time.

●        Committed to safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately.

●        Maintain a high level of personal grooming in accordance with the dress code.

●        Hold all records and information in strict confidence.

●        Willing to represent Nurse Next Door at community functions and/or participate in public speaking engagements to various organizations, physicians, and other interested parties.

●        Perform other duties as requested.
