Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Admitting | Full-Time | Fresh Meadows, Queens

Pay: $31.83 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Cornerstone Treatment Facilities Network is a licensed inpatient chemical dependency treatment facility in Fresh Meadows, Queens. Our Admitting team is where patients begin their recovery, and we’re looking for a compassionate, skilled LPN to help make that first experience safe, respectful, and supportive.

What You’ll Do

• Help complete initial nursing assessments covering patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs

• Administer medications and carry out nursing and medical orders per policy and procedure

• Contribute to multidisciplinary treatment plans and help put them into action

• Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to the RN, physician, and care team

• Document nursing interventions, patient responses, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

• Teach patients self-care skills as needed

• Conduct patient and belongings searches at admission in line with facility safety policy

• Protect patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality at all times

• Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and within the NYS Nurse Practice Act

• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Current New York State LPN license and registration (required)

• Current CPR certification (required)

• Comfort with electronic health records and basic computer systems

• Strong judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills

• A calm, professional, nonjudgmental approach with patients in crisis

• Experience in substance use disorder, behavioral health, or acute care is a plus, but not required
