Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility | Queens, NY

Schedule: Weekends or every other weekend, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

A skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Queens is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality care and support to residents. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to resident call bells and requests for assistance.

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities.

  • Help distribute meal trays and provide feeding assistance as needed.

  • Assist residents with transfers, mobility, and transportation to activities.

  • Provide direct and indirect resident care in accordance with established care plans and facility procedures.

  • Help maintain residents' comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

  • New graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, turning, and repositioning residents, including handling weights of at least 50 pounds as required.

  • Ability to safely transfer residents between sitting and standing positions.

  • Ability to bend, climb stairs, maneuver equipment, and push small carts as needed.
