What you’ll be doing:

Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
Provide assistance with personal care
Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises
Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding
Properly manage household needs
Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
You will be working in Destrehan and surrounding areas; St. Rose, Laplace and Gramercy, Lutcher. This is a PRN position, can be part-time and full-time based on the shifts.

What we’re looking for:

18 years or older
High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment screening
Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities
Must have a positive attitude and a sincere desire to help care for others
