Weekender Position

Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels.

About the Medical ICU

The Medical ICU at UH Cleveland Medical Center is a 20 bed unit. Our unit utilizes leading-edge technologies and evidenced based treatments to ensure our patients are receiving the exceptional care during a very critical time period.  Some of the characteristics and opportunities the Medical ICU offers that make it a special place to work is our formal Mentorship program spanning the first 2 years, specialized device training, family atmosphere, work/life balance, perk system, teamwork, high retention rates, and advancement/leadership opportunities.
