Job Summary:

As a Home Caregiver (Care Assistant) with Right at Home South Houston, you will provide personalized care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This may include companion care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services such as bathing and dressing. Our ideal candidate is a caring and reliable individual who is eager to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and assistance to clients in their home setting, as needed
• Develop and maintain a strong rapport with clients, families, and caregivers
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks as needed
• Encourage independence and engage clients in activities and hobbies
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care
• Report any changes or concerns to the care team and clients' families
• Maintain accurate records of client care and activities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or a related field preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform tasks and lift up to 25 pounds, as needed
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes
