The RN delivers competent, evidence-based care to assigned patients and provides oversight for licensed vocational nurses and nursing assistants as appropriate to the clinical setting. The nurse also contributes to the development and coordination of nursing education, orientation, and competency activities, and supports quality improvement and outcomes-focused initiatives.
