Key Responsibilities

As a Caregiver, you will:

• Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.

• Support safe mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.

• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.

• Perform light housekeeping tasks that contribute to a safe and comfortable home environment.

• Assist with laundry, linen changes, and general household organization.

• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction.

• Encourage clients to remain active and engaged in daily routines and activities.

• Provide medication reminders in accordance with the client's care plan and state guidelines.

• Observe and report changes in a client's condition, behavior, or care needs.

• Follow individualized care plans and service schedules.

• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

• Maintain client confidentiality and uphold privacy standards.

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and members of the healthcare team.

• Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, Medicaid requirements, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and coworkers.

• Capable of following written and verbal instructions.

• Eligible to pass required background screenings.

• Able to meet all applicable state, Medicaid, and agency requirements.

• In possession of reliable transportation, if required for assigned cases.

Preferred Experience

• Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, or direct support experience is a plus; however, caring individuals with a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

This position may require:

• Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

• Assisting clients with transfers and mobility.

• Performing duties safely and effectively as outlined in each client's care plan.
