Registered Nurse (RN)

Duties:

• Provide direct patient care on our Vent Unit performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately.

• Assist with discharge planning and coordinate post-discharge care.

• Perform infection control procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment.

• Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.

• Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment.

• This position will also cross traing for building supervision

  • Duties:

    • Responsible for the supervision of all nurses and C.N.A's on a regular basis; making rounds; assessing residents and accounting for staff.

    • Responsible for a comprehensive assessment of a residents physical , emotional and or mental status when indicated and for appropriate follow up

    • Responsible for the safety and security of the building

    • Responsible for addressing family/visitors concerns 

     

Experience:

• Must have a valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Experience in infection control, sterile processing, and discharge planning is highly desirable.

• Nursing Home Experience.
