A Place at Home - Pearland is looking for compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors in the Pearland area.

We are looking for caregivers who are patient, responsible, and committed to helping clients maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, bathing, dressing, and mobility as needed.
Support clients living with dementia or memory loss.
Assist with safe lifting, positioning, and transfers when required.
Provide feeding assistance and support clients with feeding tubes as appropriate and within their training.
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
Accompany clients on outings, appointments, and other activities.
Follow individual care plans and communicate important updates to families and the care team.
Provide support during extended shifts or live-in care assignments when needed.

Requirements

At least 2 years of caregiving experience in home care, home health, senior care, or a related setting.
Compassion, patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in caring for seniors.
Ability to respect clients' preferences, privacy, and dignity.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow care instructions.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client assignments within Pearland, TX.
Willingness to work different schedules depending on client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
Experience with feeding tubes, including G-tube or PEG care.
Experience with lifting, transferring, and assisting non-weight-bearing clients.
CNA or HHA certification.
Familiarity with WellSky or other caregiving scheduling and documentation systems.

Additional training may be provided for specific client care needs where appropriate.

Scheduling Opportunities

We have a variety of caregiving opportunities available, depending on client needs and caregiver availability. Assignments may include:

Morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
Part-time and extended-hour assignments.
Overnight and 24-hour care.
Live-in caregiving opportunities.
