Caregiver - Orland Park, IL

Are you a compassionate, dependable caregiver looking for flexible hours and meaningful one-on-one work? Visiting Angels is hiring experienced caregivers to provide non-medical home care for seniors in their homes. This role offers one-on-one senior care, flexible scheduling, and meaningful work that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.

Schedule

Open shifts include days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Flexible scheduling based on your availability.
Attendance- and performance-based pay increase opportunities.
Overtime pay and holiday pay.
Client mileage reimbursement.

Caregiver responsibilities

Provide companion care and support with daily routines.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
Help with mobility, walking, transfers, and physical assistance as needed.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Assist with grocery shopping and personal errands.
Drive clients to and from appointments when needed.
Help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Required qualifications

At least one year of senior care or caregiving experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable owned or leased vehicle.
Proof of current auto insurance.
Ability to pass state and nationwide background checks.
Ability to complete fingerprinting and drug screening.
