Team-based care model with provider, RN, and tech support, plus on-site pharmacy and case management. Strong focus on quality, throughput, and patient experience. Float Pool Experienced RNs who provide staffing support across multiple inpatient units, maintaining a broad range of clinical skills and adaptability. General Medical Unit / CDU 37-bed cardiac and pulmonary unit plus a 10-bed Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) specializing in chest pain evaluation and short-term observation. Neurovascular / Orthopedic Unit 30-bed unit caring for neurological and orthopedic patients, including total joint replacement through the Orthopedic Renewal Center. Oncology / Medical / Surgical Unit 37-bed unit providing care for a diverse patient population, including medical, oncology, and surgical patients. Observation Unit New 14-bed short-stay unit requiring independent practice, strong self-accountability, critical thinking, and excellent communication and customer service skills. The Infection Preventionist (IP) is expected to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve infection prevention and control practices system wide. This includes, but is not limited to: Sterilization and high-level disinfection Cleaning and disinfection of both patient care and public environments Reprocessing and safe management of used medical equipment The IP will also work with multi-disciplinary teams on the prevention of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). This includes, but is not limited to: Device-associated infections Procedure-associated infections Infections resulting from inappropriate use of antimicrobial treatments The individual should be familiar with the Bronson quality improvement processes and techniques and frequently participate in investigations and process improvement efforts related to infection prevention throughout the hospital system.
