Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) II is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health in accordance with medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. Summary Position Highlights: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist II establishes and maintains the sterile field for surgical procedures. Department : Intensive Care Unit Daily Work Times: 7p-7:30a Shift: Nights Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours : 72 Position Summary: Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintained standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The Registered Nurse is held accountable to the ethical and professional standards as defined in the ANA Code for Nurses, the ANA Nursing’s Social Policy Statement, the State of Michigan Public Health code and the ANA and Specialty Nursing Standards of Clinical Practice.
